WAGGA BEACH

Public BBQ

Wagga Beach is a delightful recreational area, featuring two large play structures, vast open grassland, clean restrooms, a car park, walking trails, and lifebuoy stands. It's a family-friendly spot with an impressive playground that includes slides, rope climbing, swings, trampolines, flying fox, and water track equipment, which cater to children of all ages. The thoughtfully designed space, despite being frequented by locals and visitors, doesn't feel crowded. The beach is clean and inviting. The Murrumbidgee River can run fast, so caution is necessary for younger or less confident swimmers. The beach was recognized as a Top Australian Beach in 2020. Despite the occasional crowd, it's still an excellent place for relaxation. The locale is especially lovely for picnics and is a great spot to cool down during warmer months. As with any natural area, its conditions can be influenced by weather and river levels.
